Brief
A fast-growing IT services company in Bhubaneswar’s Chandrasekharpur IT corridor needed to expand from 600 sq ft to a full 1200 sq ft office. Brand identity colours (navy + white) needed to be integrated as a design language, not just painted on a wall.
Design Approach
The brand’s navy blue and white were used as a structural design language:
- Navy accent wall behind the reception, server room partition
- White — all workstation panels and cabinet fronts
- Warm wood grain laminate — to avoid the sterile corporate box feel
Workstations
24 ergonomic workstations in a cluster configuration. Linear desk runs with cable management grooves built into the desktop. IS:303 commercial ply carcass with white super-matte laminate.
Cabins and Conference Room
Three private cabins with floor-to-ceiling glass partitions on aluminum framing. Conference room seats 12 with a built-in credenza unit and cable access panel for laptop connectivity.
Acoustic Ceiling
Armstrong grid ceiling throughout the open office area (600mm × 600mm mineral fibre tiles). Acoustic tiles absorb the ambient noise from 24 workstations — essential for maintaining productivity and call-quality in an IT environment.
Reception
A curved reception counter in veneer finish with LED backlit company name panel. The reception sets the brand impression within 5 seconds of a visitor entering.
Result
The company’s team moved in 45 days after design approval. Visitor feedback has been consistent: the office looks like a Bengaluru-grade tech company interior, not a typical Bhubaneswar setup.
